If I were only hosting a domain or two - I would agree with you . . .

However, the server @ mail.dovetailinternet.com will be dealing with at least =
100 different domains . . . which is why querying the genericstable would be =
perfect . . .

Would it possible to write a function for the 'maildomain' attribute that would =
query the genericstable?
