You know, "I'm a sysadmin, I work 15 hours a week at it!" isn't going
to win you a great deal of respect around here. 

I'm a professional sysadmin. Since I get paid to manage machines, I
install required software myself.  You'll have a difficult time
convincing people to spend their free time doing your paid work for
you, and that's really all it comes down to, right? 

For what it's worth, downloading Apache, PHP, UW-IMAP, MySQL, and
OpenSSL take twenty clicks in the browser. Excluding download time, it
took me just under a minute.
