user preferences and other questions

I have setup imp version 2.3.7-cvs  following instructions in
docs/INSTALL file.

All seems to be OK (IMHO)  but  I've got some questions that I couldn't
answer looking at documentation, mailinglist or faq,s:
(all refering to version 2.3.x, 2.2.x is OK: just install, litle
configuration and all is up&running).

How many tables are needed for horde/imp/turba?
Attributes/Description for each table?
How do I configure that user preferences must get to a sql database
(horde_preferences??,imp_preferences??)?

and the last: Why the users preferences are not getting saved in mysql
database?
