Persistent imap.

I know that this has been talked about a LOT on the mailing.  However, I'm
curious if there have been any changes since the last time it was talked
about, or if anyone else has found another solution.

We usually have 80-100 concurrent IMP users.  Those connections are really
killing our IMAP server (yes, it's WU-IMAP).  We really can't change away
from WU-IMAP right now, so I'm looking for another solution.

Any advancement on the IMAP proxy?  Or persistent IMAP?  Or some other
solution?
