Performance problems

Hello!

	I'm running a linux box with apache-ssl+imp+postgres. System isn't
so overloaded, but works very slow with huge mailboxes. If user mailbox
has over 10MB, sometimes it needs over minute to open. I'm using POP3 and
cucipop. Everything is working on one machine. Can someone suggest
something what can improve perofrmance of system with huge mailboxes ?
Sometimes I have mailboxes about 100MB, and when I'm trying to open them
with IMP i'm geting timeout.
