[imp] Maintenance Message

    Why do you think this would be a 'bad idea' ???

    As I could understand, turning on locked flag would disable user from
editing it, but, seems to NOT disable these messages. I really need the old
messages to be cleaned and I really need user to NOT be bothered with these
messages.

    If IMP cant be configured to that, what do you think on enabling these
features direct on IMAP server ?? I'm using Courier IMAPD, and these
features ( cleaning old messages ) can be done with IMAP_EMPTYTRASH
configuration ...

    Any ideais ? Any hints ??
