error viewing the requested message.

Hi

I'm using the latest imp 2.3.7 cvs

If I'm viewing a message (message.php), and a new message comes in; when I 
click on the delete button, it should take me to the next message.  
However, the new message seems to screw things up, and instead I'm taken 
back to the message summary page (mailbox.php) with an error message:
"There was an error viewing the requested message.".

Is there a way to fix this?
