Feature suggestion, show the number of new emails in every folder

I have a feature suggestion. Display the number of new messages in every 
folder. It could be displayed in the drop down menu of folders on the top 
right hand corner, and also under folders. This way if a user has filters 
to move messages, and lots of folders, the user doesn't need to check each 
and every folder to see if it has new messages. Other web mail systems do 
this I believe. And if performance is a concern, maybe make this an option 
for both the admin and the user.

And no I don't have a patch for this :P
