imp 2.3.7 cvs error

Hi,
I've downloaded php and Zend from CVS.
1- What's Zend ?
2- I've run autoconf, without any options, in order to create the configure 
file.
3- So, I run :
[root@CCNEFS01 php4]# ./configure --with-apache=/etc/httpd --with-pear=/usr/src/
web/cvs/php/php4/pear --with-sybase-ct=/opt/sybase --with-imap=../../../imap-200
