[imp] Undefined function: quote()

I'm still experiencing this issue but I've been a bit busy to fully work on
determining the cause.  I've got some weird PEAR and PHP installations on
this machine I need to clean up and recompile PHP to point to the right
config file. Once I clean up my system I'll let you know if I'm still seeing
this error.

Based on everything I've heard and what I've seen in the PEAR files I'm
pretty sure it's a version issue with PEAR on my system.

I believe I have seen this once before, and it was due to problems with
common.php in PEAR.  If so, replacing it with the PEAR from
www.hore.org/pear should fix it.
