[fatal] [compose] imp-2.3.6

when attempting to send a message, imp reports the following error ->

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare class mail_rfc822 in
/usr/local/lib/php/Mail/RFC822.php on line 27

heres part of my config ->

     Horde: 1.3.3
     IMP: 2.3.6

     PHP Version: 4.0.6

     Gettext Support: Yes
     IMAP Support: Yes
     MySQL Support: Yes
     XML Support: Yes

     magic_quotes_gpc set to Off: Yes
     magic_quotes_runtime set to Off: Yes

fwiw, at first imp couldn't find file RFC822.php, so i copied it to
rfc822.php and now i see the error above.

any ideas? tia.
