[imp] IMP configuration

This is a little picky, but I wonder if there is an easy way to allow people
to change the preference, but not on the login page?

I would like users to be able to control this, but I think it should be
buried in the user profiles configuration section.  I understand that you
would want it to log on to the IMAP server the first time that you log in
and this is the logic behind putting it on the sign-on page.

However, most ( I would estimate 90% ) of the 4,000 users at my installation
don't need to see this.  In fact, it would be a point of confusion for them
to see it. But I would like to enable the other 400 users who want to change
their folder settings to do so.

Suggestions?
