? RE: [imp] Identity system not saving a preference.

The send mail selection in the identity edit screen, and when composing are
working just fine now.

But after using the 'create' option in the identity editor the newly created
folder doesn't show up in the 'folder view'.  It does show up in the
pull-down list of folders on the main IMP screen, but not when clicking on
the 'folders' icon.

No, the user's entire addressbook was included in a javascript array in the 
compose window.

Yes. What if someone meant for a name to be expanded? Do you warn them? Do you 
just tack the domain on?

If there were ambiguity, the user would be prompted before the message was 
actually sent. The domain would only be tacked on automatically if nothing 
matched.

This is what the "append the default domain when I hit send" preference would 
be for...

Uh-huh. You can lock the preference if you want, but some people (like me) are 
going to want it.

Again, you can lock the preference for your installation. That's the beauty of 
the prefs system...
