style and body ignored from html emails in imp 2.3.7

I have noticed that for at least over a month now, HTML emails viewed in
imp 2.3.7 ignore body bgcolor tag and also styles... This didn't happen before.
Is this normal?
Also, I have this weekends CVS version, and if you edit your Identity, and
select where you would like your Save Mail to be saved in. Then go back to
edit your identity, the Save Mail folder is back to none (even though it
was actually saved in the database). So I don't know if this was already
addressed or not.

Well, I don't know about Philip, but for me the behavior has changed, over
the last week or so (I guess related to the Identities code), so that I can
_only_ save to the sent-mail folder, and not to a selected folder from the
dropdown list in the composer. This is a problem for me (perhaps not for
anyone else) in that I like to store outbound copies in a folder of my
choice (usually one for that correspondent).
I could always do housekeeping after the fact, but the current behavior
means that the checkbox and dropdown menu in the composer have no purpose.

I've been getting these of late also. I'm using current cvs of
horde/imp/turba/pear/kronolith/nag/troll as of around 2PM EST, today (11/8/01).
What I see in my log everytime I switch between horde apps (by clicking on
an icon in the button bar) is:
<log extract>
Nov 08 17:36:24 HORDE [info] [horde] Could not retrieve preferences. [ on
line 147 of "/usr/local/apache/htdocs/horde/lib/Prefs/sql.php"]
</log extract>
It appears, at line 146, that (count($prefs) == 0), so I guess my prefs
aren't being retrieved, though I can go into Options and
view/change/save/retrieve them. So, where is the session setup for $prefs
happening?
