[imp] What is database used for in POP3 environment?

hi jan!

no modifications here. just untar'ed (horde|imp|turba)-latest.tar.gz (all 
rc1), copied all the config/*php.dist files, changed for my environment, and 
off i went. i am the only user on this system and just use it for development.

i'm using qmail, but it shouldn't be doing anything special. no special 
rcpthosts other than itself.

i am using konquerer on linux most of the time. sometimes use IE on windows 
and netscape on linux. dunno if that has anything to do with it.

lemme know if you want config files or anything!
