Unfortunately, that didn't do it for me. I'm testing this on two different 
Slackware systems. They were built completely differently. One is a couple 
years old, with updated kernels but older gettext 0.10.35. The other is my 
imp system with a new install of gettext 0.10.40.

Any other ideas?
