[imp] Login problems

Nope, that is the only entries in /var/log/secure.
In /tmp/horde.log, there are the errors mentioned below.
Hmmmm... Ok, knowing about the prefs is helpful. Yes, I'm logged into the
imap server on another machine running Kmail. Working fine.

Okay... but is there any information on login attempts/failures/successes?

You don't need to be able to log in to a database to use IMP, really. If you
want preferences, you need some sort of backend, of course. You should check
wherever your IMAP server logs things. Can you log in to your IMAP server
with
any other clients?
