We need to expand the IMP icons for custom links. I added this test entry
into imp/conf/menu.php, and saw no results.
/* Add your custom entries below this line. */
$_menu[] = array(
'url' => 'http://www.nytimes.com/',
'text' => 'NY Times',
'icon' => 'folders.gif',
'target' => '_blank',
'onclick' => ''
);

Works fine for me. Are you sure that's inside PHP tags?

I'd go for 2048, just in case - serialized objects might go into that field.
I'll change it in CVS.

I've seen similar things. So far, it seems like it's a PHP problem, since the
text is mangled before IMP ever starts doing anything to it. I'll investigate
further. Is everyone who's seeing this using a recent PHP?

I also note that you're using /horde/imp/conf/menu.php.
Did you make a new folder called "conf" or did you type "config", which is
where the menu.php file should be?
