This isn't a troll. I recognize the fact that these software are provided
for FREE. I'm just having enough difficulty setting up IMP on
FreeBSD 4.4-STABLE. Every step I make is humpered by an error and a look
at the docs isn't quite helpful, especially because they seem to talk
about Linux, with which I am not quite familiar.
For example a look at ../horde/imp/docs/INSTALL for the latest RC3 versions
mention php3 and also mentions nonexistent files. I could spare some time
to update the documentation (if there's no volunteer as yet) but first I
seriously need help setting up on FreeBSD.
The documentation is not quite what would help a near-novice to setup. A
search on the web also doesn't give much. The lists are quite helpful but
doesn't it look a bit daft if one posts 3 errors in a successive order in
one day?
I'm not a php guru so these things are kinda a shocker to me and a new culture
I believe my progress depends so much on the documentation. I still see IMP as
the best towards my webmail solution so I'm not gonna give up on it !!

I hope to setup IMP for access by over 6000 users and also for virtual domains.
With a week already spent plagued with errors at every step, I see I am not
making any good progress. Is there anyone who has done this successfully on
FreeBSD who cares to share his success with others like me?

Right now I have to begin a fresh install..

Thanks in advance.
