Show user last login?? Bug??

It's very possible that I missed this if it was discussed on the list but today
while looking at imp/config/prefs.php I enabled the $subject and it worked -
showing:

Last login: Thursday, January 1, 1970, 3:00:01 AM EAT


By that time I was a few months old ;-) How do I get a correct date?

[Okay is that the Unix epoch?]
