IMP-error

This one could be OT - maybe belongs to turba- but when I go to addressbook
and click add I get this error:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: pg_pconnect() in /usr/local/lib/php/DB/pgsql.php on line 114

I use mysql, if anything. I'm lost as to why I get this error.
