I just ran through them another time, and got the following result on the
console:

(LANG=da_DK; gettext horde "Message")
This does not work .... whatever i do..... gives me "Message" all the time.

(LC_MESSAGES=da_DK; gettext horde "Message")
This does work .... on all messages i tried both on my danish translation
and on the nl_NL example. It gives the correct result.

The langtest.php thing however doesn't work anyway.
