users preferences

I have installed latest release of Horde and Imp.

My problem is the configuration of the user address from.
The database (postgres) containing the preferences is loaded, by a
script, from an
external resource, and users cannot change their address.
If I set "locked" to true for from_addr, when I go in compose form, the
from address is set to
user@maildomain(from config/server.php) and not with the value of the
database.
I must configure something else?

Thanks

Yes, you must use the from hook in conf.php instead to select the correct
user address. If you just lock a preference, the stored preference gets
completely ignored.

Subject: Sorting email by mailing list (To)

I'm just curious here. I have one email account that's signed up for
about 10 mail lists that have varying, but generally moderate, amounts
of email. It would be nice if I could read through the email for each
list all at once. I can sort by subject so that I at least get all
the messages for a thread at once, but I still jump around lists.

I know that I could write filter rules and seperate each list into its
own folder. I was just curious if there is or could be a better way
to handle this? Really, just sorting on "To:" could work easily...
