Hi,

in imp/config/prefs.php
you have the following lines :

// user language
$_prefs['language'] = array(
    'value' => 'us_US',
    'locked' => false,
    'shared' => true,
    'type' => 'select',
    'desc' => _("Select your preferred language:")
);

I changed 'value' => 'us_US' to 'value' => 'fr_FR'
But for your speeking langage I have no idea for the code

Rather change the language value in lang.php, we remove the standard value 
in the next versions.
