[imp] IMP 3 / IE6 exposed php code

turning compression off did seem to fix it.

What browsers actually exhibit this problem?  IE6 for windows.

I suppose we could check things and turn of page compression for offensive 
browsers.. but I'm worried that that would cause a bunch of overhead.
