Spell checker adding carriage returns

Just updated our imp, horde and turba (Jan 17th) to try to get rid of the
problem with the spell checker adding extra letters.

Doesn't seem to do that anymore, now it adds 2 carriage returns to the end
of each line.

We are using ispell.

Any help would be appreciated.
