Well, the only machine that I can take over on the client network has 
Outlook97, so it wouldn't use IMAP, just POP.  Also, it doesn't do BCCs. 
  I just sent a message to two different accounts with an attachment and 
a cc, and that worked.

It just doesn't seem to want to send any messages.  I can log in and out 
of IMP.  I can view my inbox, including messages received after the 
problem occurred.  It's just that, when I compose a new message and hit 
send, nothing appears to happen.  Like I said earlier, there are no 
messages in horde.log, imap.log, or /var/log/messages that indicate that 
the message was queued to sendmail, or that there was a problem.
