incorect Return-Path

when i send emails from imp 2.2 Return-Path is allways set to 
"apache@myhostname.net". imp runs on redhat 7.1. i checked this mailing list 
and found few simillar problems but still without solutions. i tried 
everything and i even captured how imp sends emails:

/usr/sbin/sendmail -i -fname@domain.net -- receiver@anything.com

everything is correct there, however Return-Path is still 
"apache@hostname.com". if i execute this command line as user apache 
Return-Path is OK. very weird...  useres never get returned emails, because 
they get sent to "apache".

is there anything i could do about this?
