[imp] Unable to send email to local users

Hi Jan,
We can use any email agent such as Outlook Express, Netscape Mail or
Eudora to send emails to local users, but not with web-based IMP.
Do you mean IMP configuration?
Thanks,
Chiachi

Then subscribe to the list. You can additionally send the translation

Subject: Choose spellcheck language in compose window?
Hi,
I don't know if this is the right place to post a request for the "nice to
have" list of IMP, so correct me if I took the wrong turn.
Is it possible to add a language chooser for the spellingchecker or something
similar in the compose window?
I compose messages in various languages, dutch, english, german. I would like
to be able to check the spelling of them in the appropriate language without
changeing the overall language of IMP. (Or is this possible already and did I
overlook it... I use IMP3.0 without cvs additions)
thanks,
Michiel

Yes, this would be a nice feature. If someone wants to write a clean patch.

Fetchmail should be used per user. Each user needs to have .fetchmailrc in
their home directories with the appropriate user name and password of their
yahoo accounts. You probably want to run fetchmail in daemon mode so that it
checks mail every couple of minutes. After fetchmail retrieves the mail from
the Yahoo pop servers, it will automatically put it in the appropriate mailbox
for that user. I don't think fetchmail is designed for a collection of
users...it is a per user application. Also, I don't know if the users would be
too keen on giving their yahoo passwords to you.

1. for each user, create a .fetchmailrc file in ~user/ and add their yahoo
account name, password and pop server name
2. for each user start fetchmail which checks mail ever 15 minutes...like so:
fetchmail --daemon 900 -L ~user/logs/fetchmail.log
