registry.php changes

Why were these options removed from registry.php?
$this->registry['auth']['login'] = 'imp';
$this->registry['auth']['logout'] = 'imp';

Now when I login it does not log me into imp automatically like it used to.

Thank you!

Subject: Undoing Realms

I have mistakenly enabled a realm on my configurating and so many users have
been using it for 3 weeks now. Everything is working great ...
The question:
Is there an easy way (or any way at all) to remove the realm without affecting
the users already set preferences?
I know how to remove it from the servers.php, but that will affect users.
I looked in the Sql database, horde_prefs table, and every pref_uid has
something like this:
user@relam
I would like to remove the "@realm" part from over 3000 entries

Is this doable?

Thank you in advance for any tips

the only way to me is change setting in servers.php and then do a SQL update to
the horde_prefs table for all entries.

I modified the imp/scripts/imp2horde.pl script (or maybe it was imp2turba.pl,
not sure) to just read in my turba stuff, remove the realm, and write it back
out. Process (after modifying the script) went something like this:

1) tell all your users there will be a brief outage (few minutes)
2) shutdown the web server serving Horde/IMP
3) remove the realm setting from servers.php
4) run the modified script to modify the database
5) restart the web server

Worked for me at least...

Because the way application authentication changed. If you're going to run
HEAD, you need to follow CVS updates and at least read the .dist files - where
this is all documented. It won't always be (documented) for HEAD; the bleeding
edge is sometimes just that. RELENG_ is there for people who need something
stable but still updated with bugfixes.
