wvWare blank screen and IMP 3

I know there was discussion of this before, but no resolution?

I am using
	Redhat 7.2
	apache 1.3.20
	php 4.0.6
(in otherwords, stock redhat 7.2) plus
	wvWare 0.6.5

wvWare is working fine from the command line. I uncommented the msword 
section in horde/config/mime_drivers.php and added 'msword' to 
$mime_drivers_map['horde']['registered']. I've tried turning inline on 
and off. Either way it displays whitespace. Certain docs caause 
Diagnostic messages in my apache error_log.

Any ideas?
