Sessions

I am trying to intergrate IMP into our website, it requires our session code to 
be included in /horde/imp/templates/common-header.inc. 

Our sessions include the users id number as a variable, however the session 
variable is always 0 when included in a IMP page. 

The session code is been included correctly (Tested using echo's) 

How have other people got website session code intergrated with IMP's session 
code?
