RTF problem with IMP 2.2.3

Hello each others,

We use IMP 2.2.3 for about 1 year now with 300 users.
It is working very good and I have made some adds into the source code for the 
user end to be what they want exactly.
I noticed one Problem that I have not found in the archives any solution:
When a user add an attachment witch is an RTF file (example.rtf) the IMP code 
seems to add a blank line in the beginning of the file transmitted.
The file could not be read after this alteration of course.
I would like to find where this alteration take place in the source code to 
modify it.
Could someone help me on this ?
(please don't make answers like : upgrade your version of IMP! - I have NO time 
to change now - thanks)
