There are some Horde tutorials at http://horde.org/papers/, and, if you haven't 
found it, the API documentation at http://dev.horde.org/.

The dev@ list is also a good place to ask questions on anything like this - 
specific ones, especially; we'll be happy to do what we can to help you along.
