Problem with initial page

I have set my initial page to INBOX, and 'INBOX' is what is stored in my 
preferences.  However, when I log onto IMP, the URL looks like this:

https://bigworm.colorado.edu/horde/imp/mailbox.php?
actionID=105&mailbox=INBOX.&1=1

The mailbox parameter is listed as INBOX.
This extra period causes none of my filters to trigger, and no mailbox name 
appears (right next to the reload/filter icons)

I am using IMP/Horde CVS with the courier-imap server on RH Linux 7.2
