empty mailboxes with IMP doing authentication

I grabbed the latest CVS today of Horde and IMP, and when I use IMP to 
authenticate (to avoid the double login), my mailbox is empty until I click the 
mailbox folder.  If I use horde to authenticate, and get the double login, my 
mail shows up fine...I am running php 4.1.12 and apache 1.3.23.
