Mail session has expired error - missing horde tag in response string

Hi everyone,
    Just got IMP/Horde installed and running on a Linux server. Here are =
the install details:
        IMP version 3.0
        Horde version 2.0
        Apache 1.3.23
        PHP 4.1.2

I have configured the registry.php to allow imp to run and to use imp =
for login logoff. =20

I have also configured horde.php to use the Horde as the session tag but =
this doesn't show up

eg

http://moss.cable.nu:8080/horde/imp/login.php?=3D6f8239823dfaa2bedee6e9f6=
47a29e41&1=3D1&reason=3Dsession

any help much appreciated
