[imp] MIMP - does it work?

What a shame.  OT: but does anyone have any recommendations for cheap/free WAP email software?  

There are two obvious ones that come up on sourceforge/freshmeat, but I found that they would not work with my Nokia 6210, although it works with various "emulators"...?  

Perhaps there are different version of WAP around.
