[imp] What IMAP Server?

It really depends on how your MTA will be storing the mail. qmail and 
cyrus can be made to work together, and for many this is an excellent 
solution. UW-IMAP is pretty easy to get going but (correct me if I'm wrong)
it does not support Maildir mailboxes, a qmail feature. 

Courier-IMAP supports Maildir and works very well with IMP. I recommend
it.

I'm not sure what you mean. On both screens the text with the "light" class 
is on the main background, so you'll have to fix both classes if you have 
contrast problems.
