Unfortunately, the problem with that is then code goes into the release 
which doesn't do what it's supposed to do - we should either make the fix 
work, or remove it, since it's not doing _anything_.

I can't reproduce it, so unless you can help me make the code in CVS work, 
I'm going to remove the bad fix.
