[imp] Apache Auth then imp

I am wndering if anyone has managed to setup imp such that when user's
have been authenitcated via .htaccess, then they are not prompted to
login again into imp.
I've setup an auth method like this. A script updates the AuthUserFile
every night with username:password from the /etc/master.passwd and
this is the same box with apache/imp so the same credentials could
be be shared with imp.
