[imp] sendmail returned error code 255 [in compose.php]

Sorry, I actually installed horde-2.0 instead of horde-1.2.8.
I've enclosed my question below again. Any idea what
might cause the problem?

I've installed horde-2.0 and imp-3.0 on Freebsd with
apache_1.3.24, imap-2000c, mysql-3.23.49 and php-4.1.2.

Now it has no problem receiving email but when sending out
email an error message appears in horde.log:

HORDE [error] [imp] sendmail returned error code 255 [on line 787 of
"/usr/local/horde/imp/compose.php"]

It ACTUALLY sent out the email all right, but I kept getting this error
message. Does any body know what might be the problem?
