[imp] messages is not deleted

Hi,

    My imp is configured for use a pop server, and options for "deleted 
messages" are set with defaut value :

delhide is set to 0
use_trash is set to 0
trash_folder is to to ""

    When I delete any message it is marked with a trash , but if I leave 
the page it returns to the INBOX.
    What should be set to messages desapear.
