Which version of IMP are you using?

If you are using 3.0 then there's a problem with your preference storage
system. Check to see if other preferences are being saved between
sessions.

If you are using 3.1 RC1 to RC3 then this is a known problem with the
notification system within horde/imp. It should be fixed in 3.1 final.
It may even be fixed in cvs RELENG ?
