[imp] How to get RELENG_* branch from cvs

I tried to use cvs command to get Horde's project with RELENG_* branche,but 
nothing left at local.

#cd /tmp
#export CVSROOT=:pserver:cvsread@anoncvs.horde.org:/repository
#cvs -d :pserver:cvsread@anoncvs.horde.org:/repository login
  (passwd=horde)
#cvs co -r RELENG_3 horde

after this ,the /tmp/horde was disappear.What did i miss ?
