[imp] Php problem...

 Hello,
         I had lot of problems with my php
installtion.that's what I assume since my imp doesn't
work well.
         I'm using Redhat 7.2. It comes with a php rpm
already installed.I forgot to uninstall it before I
want installing php 4.2.1 as a static module in
apache.
          do you think the php installed by the rpm
and the new version of the php installed are
colliding?
