Hi:
Have been using imp 2.2 and trying imp 3.1.
Both these (great) programs unfortunately do not seem to convert text which has
been coded with iso-8859-1?B? (ie base 64).
Thus subject line of email message is show as (for example):
=?ISO-8859-1?B?U29saWNpdHVkIEludGVybmEgZGUgQ29tcHJhIDE0NjYwIFJlcXV...
Same happens with attachments, looking at the source code:
-included message-wf
Content-Type: text/html; charset=iso-8859-1; name="Enlace de Detalle de
Notificación.html";
Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable
Content-Disposition: inline;
filename="=?ISO-8859-1?B?RW5sYWNlIGRlIERldGFsbGUgZGUgTm90aWZpY2FjafNuLmh0bWw=?="
As the file name it not converted imp does not realize this is in fact an .html
file
and thus cannot open/save with correct name.
We are running an Oracle application which insists on coding in this format
(which is
read correctly by Outlook Express).
Am I missing something?
Thanks
Miguel Ward
