[imp] message size limit ???

I seem to be having an issue with IMP sending larger messages.  Is the a 
setting somewhere I am overlooking? I tried to send a message w/attachment and 
it would not send until I deleted some text.  I sent the same message through 
another e-mail client and it sent fine thought the same sendmail server my imp 
is on, so I know it's not the server end.
