Check the newest HEAD branch - there is initial support for "educated 
guessing" for MIME types that are labeled "application/octet-stream".  The 
UI needs to be improved, but the basic functionality is there.

A Note on potential UIs: The application/octet-stream stuff MUST remain 
there, MUST remain the first option, and the guessed results must NEVER be 
shown inline.  This is all to remain compliant with the RFCs.
