[imp] Performance Problems

Hi,

I have installed IMP 3.0, and I access my mail server via POP3. My problem
is that 
when a user have a long number of mails in his/her mailbox (arround 80
mails). IMP 
takes a long time for display the messages (arround 2 minutes).
I don't know if the problem is when IMP tries to sort the messages. If
this is the case, I'd 
prefer do not sort them, but I don't know how to do this.
Please, help me...
